Basic Salary: Up to £43,626.47 per annum, dependent upon experience
Covering Area: North East

An exciting opportunity for a Senior / Supervising Social Worker to join our Outstanding fostering agency in the North East.

About the Role
We are currently looking to recruit a Senior / Supervising Social Worker for our friendly and dynamic team to work with Foster Parents in the North East.
*You will be responsible for the recruitment, training, assessment, support and supervision of a range of Foster Parents, ensuring high-quality placements for looked-after children

About You
The successful candidate will:
*Be a motivated and organised professional, able to work independently while building strong relationships with colleagues and Foster Parents
*Have excellent assessment, communication and report-writing skills, along with confident IT skills
*Hold a recognised social work qualification and current Social Work England registration
*Be passionate about improving outcomes for children, bringing enthusiasm, initiative and a commitment to our innovative and child-focused approach, whether you are new to fostering or an experienced Supervising Social Worker
*Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle
*Have a good understanding of fostering, safeguarding and relevant legislation
Desirable
*Experience within fostering and children’s services, although applications from less experienced candidates are welcomed
