The successful candidate will play a key role within a close-knit and friendly team, contributing to the preparation of accounts, bookkeeping, VAT returns, and management accounts for a diverse client base.
What is the day-to-day of the role:
*Preparation of statutory accounts for a range of clients including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
*Bookkeeping and management accounts preparation
*Preparation and submission of VAT returns
*Liaising directly with clients to build strong working relationships
*Supporting more junior members of the team where required
Required Skills and Qualifications:
*Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
*AAT, ACA, or ACCA student (or QBE candidates will also be considered)
*Strong working knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel
*Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
*A proactive approach with a genuine desire to develop within the profession
