Full job descriptionJHE & Partners are excited to be working exclusively with a fantastic business based near Harrogate as they look to recruit an experienced Management Accountant on a permanent basis. Supporting the FC, the successful candidate will play a key role in the organisation, responsible for bringing together the monthly management accounts, whilst maintaining robust financial controls and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. This is a company with real energy, purpose and enthusiasm, so it is essential we find someone who will thrive in this environment.
Key duties will include:
*Balance sheet reconciliations
*Monthly cashflow forecasting
*Production of a variety of reports each month relating to operations
*VAT Returns
*Sales reports
*Assisting with annual audit and the preparation of statutory accounts
*Supporting the senior leadership as required
Experience and skill set required:
*Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
*Proven track record in similar positions
*Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX would be advantageous
*Excellent communication skills with business partnering experience
*Strong organisational, problem solving and analytical skills
*A genuine enthusiasm and positivity for work, process improvement and working as part of a successful team
