Clark Wood are recruiting for a Senior Accounts Technician to join an independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Huntingdon.
The role would suit an AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified or experienced practice accountant looking to progress their career.
You’ll manage a varied portfolio of SMEs, limited companies, partnerships and sole traders, covering accounts, VAT, bookkeeping and client support.
The Role*Preparing year-end accounts
*Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
*Bookkeeping and cloud accounting
*Dealing with client queries
*Reviewing junior team members’ work
*Assisting with management accounts and forecasting
*Supporting Managers and Partners with client work
*Managing your own portfolio and deadlines
About You*AAT Level 4, ACA/ACCA part-qualified or QBE
*Previous UK accountancy practice experience
*Strong accounts, VAT and bookkeeping knowledge
*Experience with Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
*Good client communication skills
*Organised and able to manage multiple deadlines
