We are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for our client based in Sittingbourne, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional HGV Class 1 Driver looking for ongoing, full-time work with a consistent Monday to Friday schedule.
Location: Sittingbourne, Kent
Pay Rate: £16.91 per hour
Enhanced rates available for weekends and Bank Holidays
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 starts, averaging 10-12 hour shifts
Contract: Ongoing, full-time opportunity
The Role
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for carrying out deliveries and collections while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and customer service.
This role is ideal for an experienced Class 1 Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver, CE Driver, Category CE Driver, C+E Driver, HGV Driver, Trunking Driver, or General Haulage Driver looking for stable, long-term work.
HGV Class 1 Driver Key Responsibilities
*Driving a Class 1 (Category CE) vehicle
*Completing deliveries and collections safely and efficiently
*Providing excellent customer service at all delivery and collection points
*Representing the business professionally at customer sites
HGV Class 1 Driver Requirements
*Valid HGV Class 1 / Category CE / C+E Licence
*Driver CPC Qualification Card
*Digital Tachograph Card
*Previous experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, Class 1 Driver, LGV Driver, CE Driver, or Category CE Driver
*Good understanding of transport legislation and road safety regulations
*Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach
*Strong communication and organisational skills
