Full job descriptionIn this role, you will prevent, arrange and manage temporary accommodation placements for households experiencing homelessness.
Duties:
*Negotiate with evicting households to prevent the need for temporary accommodation
*Arrange and manage temporary accommodation placements and transfers for homeless households.
*Work with residents, landlords, providers and partners to secure suitable housing.
*Ensure placements are safe, compliant and cost effective.
*Manage competing demands while delivering a customer-focused service.
Qualifications and Experience:
*Experience in housing, property, homelessness or customer focused services.
*Experience managing competing priorities in a busy environment.
*Experience building relationships with customers and external partners.
*Experience providing high quality support to people in challenging circumstances.
*Experience of using IT systems and data bases to ensure accurate recording
