Job Description:
Full job description Juice Recruitment is delighted to be supporting an organisation in its search for an experienced HR Business Partner. This is a varied generalist position offering the opportunity to support employees and managers across the full employee lifecycle while contributing to wider people initiatives and business objectives.
DAY TO DAY:
* Providing advice and guidance to employees and managers on employee relations matters, including absence, performance, grievance and wellbeing.
* Supporting recruitment and selection activity, including advertising, screening, interviewing and preparing offers.
* Managing the onboarding and offboarding process to ensure a positive and consistent employee experience.
* Developing and implementing HR initiatives that support engagement, learning, development and wider business goals.
* Supporting performance management, career development and succession activity across the organisation.
* Contributing to the development and review of HR policies, procedures and people practices.
* Supporting contractual and employee relations discussions while ensuring compliance with current UK employment legislation.
* Maintaining accurate employee records across HR and document management systems and ensuring GDPR requirements are met.
* Preparing, checking and reporting payroll and time and attendance information in line with monthly deadlines.
* Keeping knowledge of relevant payroll requirements, employment legislation and HR best practice up to date.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
* Previous experience in a broad HR generalist, HR Business Partner or HR advisory role.
* A strong and current understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
* The ability to balance responsive operational support with longer-term HR projects and initiatives.
* A proactive, hands-on and solutions-focused approach, with sound judgement and discretion.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build effective relationships at all levels.
* Strong organisation, accuracy and attention to detail.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
* Experience using HR, payroll or time and attendance systems would be advantageous .
Salary – up to £55,000 per anum depending on experience
