I’m working with an established and growing accountancy practice in London that is looking to strengthen its Corporate Tax team with an experienced and ambitious Corporate Tax Senior Manager.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants to play a significant role within a growing tax function, taking ownership of key client relationships, leading complex advisory work and working closely with Partners on both client delivery and business development.
The role would suit someone who is technically strong, commercially minded and looking for an environment where they can make a genuine impact.
The role
You’ll have responsibility across a varied corporate tax portfolio, including:
*Taking responsibility for a portfolio of corporate tax clients
*Leading complex corporate tax advisory and planning assignments
*Providing high-quality technical advice across a broad range of corporate tax matters
*Reviewing corporation tax computations, returns and technical work
*Acting as a senior point of contact for key clients
*Building and developing strong, long-term client relationships
*Working closely with Partners on significant client assignments
*Identifying opportunities to provide additional value and support wider client needs
*Leading, coaching and developing more junior members of the tax team
*Reviewing and overseeing the work of Managers and more junior staff
*Supporting the continued growth and development of the Corporate Tax team
*Contributing to business development and identifying new opportunities
*Staying up to date with changes in UK corporate tax legislation and communicating these to clients and colleagues
What they’re looking for
You don’t need to tick every box, but ideally you’ll have:
*Strong experience within a UK accountancy practice
*Significant corporate tax experience
*A strong technical background across corporate tax
*Proven experience delivering corporate tax advisory and planning work
*Experience managing complex client relationships
*Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
*The ability to lead, develop and motivate a team
*A commercially focused approach to client service
*CTA, ACA or ACCA qualification would be advantageous
*Experience contributing to business development would be beneficial
*A genuine ambition to continue progressing your career
