Location: Bourne End
Salary: £25,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to join a growing team in Bourne End. Working as part of a small team and reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of warehouse duties, helping to ensure customer orders are accurately prepared and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities
*Picking, packing and checking customer orders prior to delivery
*Learning and operating the in-house stock control system
*Supporting the goods-in and goods-out processes
*Checking product weights, batch numbers and expiry dates
*Using delivery portals and labelling software
*Maintaining accurate stock records
*Working safely when handling drums and other warehouse products, which can weigh up to 30kg
The successful candidate will:
*Be motivated, reliable and enthusiastic
*Have excellent attention to detail
*Be comfortable working as part of a small team
*Be computer literate and confident learning new systems
*Have a careful and methodical approach to picking and checking stock
*Be comfortable with manual handling and lifting items up to 30kg
*A forklift licence would be an advantage, although this is not essential
