I’m working with an established and growing accountancy practice in London that is looking to strengthen its Corporate Tax team with an ambitious Corporate Tax Assistant Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has built a strong foundation in corporate tax and is now looking for greater responsibility, broader advisory exposure and a clear route towards Manager.
The role
You’ll work across a varied portfolio of corporate tax clients, with responsibilities including:
*Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients
*Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns
*Handling day-to-day corporate tax queries and providing practical advice
*Supporting and delivering corporate tax advisory and planning work
*Working closely with Managers and Partners on more complex assignments
*Building strong, long-term relationships with clients
*Taking greater ownership of client work and deadlines
*Reviewing work and supporting the development of junior team members
*Identifying opportunities to add value and support wider client needs
*Contributing to the continued growth and development of the Corporate Tax team
What they’re looking for
You don’t need to tick every box, but ideally you’ll have:
*Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice
*Strong corporate tax experience
*A solid background in corporate tax compliance
*Exposure to corporate tax advisory and planning
*Strong communication and client-facing skills
*ATT, CTA or ACA/ACCA qualification/study would be advantageous
*The confidence to take ownership of client relationships and assignments
*A genuine ambition to progress towards Manager
