Jigsaw Specialist Recruitment is delighted to be working exclusively with an established international franchise business to recruit a Sales Project Coordinator to support its European operation.
This is not a direct sales role. Instead, it is a varied project coordination and commercial support position, working directly with the Sales Director of the franchise business to help manage ongoing projects, research new opportunities and ensure key actions continue moving forward.
The position is predominantly home based, although candidates should be located in the Dorset region, ideally within easy reach of the Poole/Wimborne area, as you will meet regularly with the Sales Director locally.
The role
You will become a trusted support to the Sales Director and wider European team, taking ownership of a broad range of projects and activities. Responsibilities will include:
*Coordinating and tracking ongoing sales and commercial projects
*Researching new franchise opportunities, partnerships, events, expos and relevant industry contacts
*Supporting the planning and coordination of events, meetings and partnership activity
*Managing actions and follow-ups to ensure projects continue progressing
*Carrying out research and presenting findings and recommendations
*Preparing information, documentation and presentations for meetings
*Coordinating with colleagues, franchise partners and external contacts across the UK and Europe
*Helping identify new opportunities and taking the initiative to progress them
*Providing high-quality organisational and project support to the Sales Director
The role will involve approximately 2–3 days of UK or European travel per month, which may include sales meetings, franchise events, industry expos, partner meetings and internal company meetings. All business travel and associated expenses will be fully covered.
About you
We’re looking for someone who is naturally organised, proactive and enjoys making things happen. You may currently be working within project coordination, sales support, commercial support, operations, events, executive support or a similar position.
You’ll ideally bring:
*Previous experience within a coordination, project, commercial or operational support role
*Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
*A proactive approach and confidence using your own initiative
*Strong research and problem-solving skills
*Excellent attention to detail
*Confident written and verbal communication skills
*The ability to build relationships with colleagues and external partners
*Confidence working directly with senior leadership
*A willingness and ability to travel within the UK and Europe when required
*A Dorset base and the flexibility to meet locally on a regular basis
