A fully remote position with preference of being close to the South West / M5 Corridor but not essential.

* 75/25 on self-generated business
* Existing client-bank opportunities, including product transfer. Numbers to be agreed depending on experience, potentially up to 15 a month

*•Opportunity to build a book of business that subject to certain conditions, you can call your own over time
*Clear development path into wealth advice, with mentoring and support from an experienced team, if desired
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a growing mortgage client base, work with warm introductions and existing clients, and build a long-term career within a business that values quality advice over sales pressure.
The role
You’ll handle a varied mix of mortgage and protection work, including product transfers, first-time buyers, second charges and portfolio cases. You’ll gradually take on mortgage clients from the existing book while also developing your own business.
There is scope to develop into wealth advice over time, and for the right person, this could form part of a longer-term succession plan.
Your responsibilities will include
*Provide high-quality, client-focused advice aligned with individual needs and objectives
*Analyse clients’ financial situations to determine appropriate mortgage options
*Utilise the training and support provided by the firm
*Manage client records and ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable and current regulatory requirements.
*Promote your services through networking and marketing, to grow your client base


What will you need to succeed?* At least two years’ mortgage advice experience
* CeMAP-qualified and able to operate competently with minimal supervision
* Bank or whole-of-market background considered
* Strong compliance standards and a client-first approach
* Comfortable managing a varied caseload and taking responsibility for your own pipeline
* Based in, or willing to work across, the South West/M5 corridor—ideally within around two hours of Exeter
