Full job descriptionAppointment-Taking Insolvency Practitioner – Volume IVAs
A leading company within the personal insolvency market is seeking an accomplished appointment-taking Insolvency Practitioner to play a central role within its volume IVA operation.
This is more than a case-oversight position. The successful candidate will become a trusted technical authority within the business, helping to protect professional standards, strengthen operational performance and support the delivery of fair and appropriate outcomes.
The appointment offers considerable flexibility. Candidates may work on an office-based, hybrid or fully remote basis, and applications are invited from professionals seeking either full-time or part-time hours.
Key Responsibilities
*Act as an appointment-taking Insolvency Practitioner across the company’s IVA portfolio
*Maintain professional responsibility for appointments and associated decisions
*Provide authoritative technical advice on complex IVA matters
*Ensure compliance with insolvency legislation, Statements of Insolvency Practice and regulatory expectations
*Review and challenge case strategy where necessary
*Support senior management in identifying and managing operational or regulatory risk
*Provide guidance and development to case management teams
*Help improve procedures, controls and quality-assurance processes
*Monitor the standard and progression of cases across the portfolio
*Engage with creditors, advisers and other stakeholders when required
Candidate Profile
You will be a qualified, licensed and experienced Insolvency Practitioner with a demonstrable background in the volume IVA market. Previous appointment-taking experience is essential.
The successful candidate will combine technical strength with commercial judgment and an appreciation of the responsibilities that accompany a high-volume portfolio. You should be comfortable operating at a senior level, challenging constructively and providing clear direction when complex issues arise.
You will also need strong communication skills, sound professional judgment and the ability to work effectively with compliance, operational and leadership teams.
A Flexible Senior Appointment
The company recognises that experienced Insolvency Practitioners may require different working arrangements. It is therefore willing to consider office-based, hybrid and remote candidates, alongside both full-time and part-time schedules.
For the right individual, this represents an exciting opportunity to join a leading company and make a meaningful contribution to its continued success.
