IntroductionAcorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Material Cutter to join a busy manufacturing team in Redruth.
This role involves preparing paper patterns to exact specifications and accurately cutting fabric in readiness for machinists to complete the final product. It is a hands-on position suited to someone who takes pride in precision and quality.
What We Offer*£12.71 per hour.
*Monday to Thursday, 7:30am-4:30pm.
*Friday, 7:30am-12pm.
*Supportive local team environment.
*Immediate start available.
*Opportunity for permanent placement for the right candidate.
Key Duties*Alter paper patterns to specification.
*Hand cut fabric pattern pieces accurately.
*Mark fastenings and pin reinforcements as required.
*Generate garment labels.
*Check the work of other cutters for quality assurance on a rotational basis.
*Log completed work using dedicated manufacturing software.
Requirements*Previous experience required.
*Thorough and precise approach to work.
*High attention to detail.
*Good manual dexterity and ability to work well with your hands.
*Numerically competent and computer literate.
*Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
*Commitment to delivering a high level of quality.
*Able to ensure accurate and timely output.
*Comfortable working effectively within a small team environment.
