An AMAZING specialist school in Kidlington are looking for a Youth Worker to join them on a full time basis, to start ASAP.
About the School
*A specialist school supporting children and young people aged 4-16 years.
*Their pupils have a range of additional and co-existing needs, including:*Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
*Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
*Behavioural and emotional needs
*Vulnerability and complex individual circumstances

*We are looking for a caring, patient and enthusiastic Youth Worker to join our dedicated team.
As a Youth Worker, you will:
*Support children and young people with their emotional, social and behavioural development.
*Help pupils develop confidence, independence and life skills.
*Provide individual and group support based on each young person’s needs.
*Encourage positive behaviour and help pupils develop appropriate coping strategies.
*Support pupils who may experience anxiety, emotional dysregulation or challenging behaviour.
*Take part in activities that promote communication, social skills, confidence and wellbeing.
*Follow individual support plans and contribute to pupils’ wider development.
