Job Type: Full-Time
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
Start Date: October 2026 or January 2027
We are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive mainstream primary school in Maidstone, Kent.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to providing high-quality teaching and creating a positive, engaging learning environment for young pupils.
The RoleAs a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.
Key responsibilities include:
*Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the KS1 curriculum
*Creating an engaging, inclusive and positive classroom environment
*Supporting pupils to make strong academic and personal progress
*Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
*Differentiating lessons to meet individual learning needs
*Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
*Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team
*Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, achievement and personal development
About YouWe are looking for a teacher who:
*Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1
*Has a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum
*Is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
*Has excellent classroom management skills
*Is organised, reliable and adaptable
*Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
*Is committed to creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment
DBS RequirementA fully enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
Applicants must either:
*Hold a fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or
*Be willing to apply for a new enhanced DBS check.
Working HoursMonday to Friday | 8:30am-3:30pm | Full-Time Only
