Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Owen Daniels are recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering and manufacturing business in Coventry is recruiting for a Mechanical CAD Designer due to growth in the business.
Mechanical CAD Designer:
*Assist and develop the design of electro/mechanical rotating equipment.
*Create accurate 3D CAD models, assemblies and manufacturing drawings, ideally using SolidWorks, along with supporting engineering calculations and design checks.
*Develop practical, cost-effective designs that meet technical, quality, safety, compliance and manufacturing requirements.
*Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, testing and quality teams.
*Investigate design and production issues, recommend improvements, and maintain accurate technical drawings, reports and design documentation.
Mechanical CAD Designer:
*Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline.
*Experienced in a mechanical design position within a regulated industry.
*Strong proficiency in 3D CAD and technical drawing creation (SolidWorks preferred).
*Strong attention to detail and able to resolve design issues.
*Ability to work effectively with different engineering teams.
