Full job descriptionElectronics Hardware Design Engineer
Do you have solid, broad experience of electronics hardware design and like to work across a wide variety of products?
Our client design and manufacture electronic equipment, supplying into sectors including aerospace, defence, semiconductor, medical and communications. As part of their offering they design full electronics products and bespoke hardware, working across a genuinely broad product range for a global customer base.
A fantastic engineering culture. They promote collaboration and innovation, supporting engineers to work on defined briefs as well as their own ideas for new products.
This is a great opportunity for a hardware engineer to develop within a team of experienced colleagues and expand their own career, with plenty of exposure to senior engineers and the full electronics design lifecycle. Requirements for application:
*3+ years’ hardware design experience
*Experience with high-speed digital design
*Exposure to areas such as analogue, power electronics, RF, FPGA, or embedded software is beneficial but not essential
*Experience of Altium
*Component selection
*Understanding of PCB layout
*Comfortable working within a multidisciplinary team (software, mechanical, test, manufacturing etc.) across the full electronics design lifecycle
