Marks Sattin are collaborating with an award winning Consultancy is a fast-growing, wanting to expand their Tax team in the North West by bringing in a Mixed Tax Manager.
The Role:
This role is the perfect step for an Assistant Manager/ Manager who is looking for their next challenge. This role also offers opportunities for progression. A key part of the role will be to manage and develop the talented people within your team, while working with the Tax Partners. The role is a mixture of management responsibilities and advisory work on clients that vary in size.
Day to Day:
*Be a key point of contact for clients regarding Tax matters.
*Provide Tax advice to OMBs, such as corporation tax planning, R&D claims, property acquisitions and disposals, group reorganisations, capital allowances, EMI option schemes and some international tax matters
*Provide Tax advice to business owners, including income tax planning, advising on the acquisition and disposal of businesses and properties, inheritance tax/estate planning
*Maintain positive relationships with regulatory bodies such as HMRC while carrying out enquiries and investigations, including report writing, financial analysis and technical research,
*Supervise and review the compliance work on some of the firm’s larger and more complex corporate clients.
Skills:
*Ideally ACA/ CTA/ACCA Qualified or working towards.
*Experience engaging effectively with internal teams, clients, and regulatory authorities.
*Experience managing or working with junior members of the team
