Smart4Sciences is recruiting for a Quality Control Manager to join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced QC professional to lead a Quality Control team responsible for ensuring the testing, release, and compliance of pharmaceutical products within a highly regulated GMP environment.
The Role*Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality Control team
*Oversee routine QC testing and product release activities
*Review analytical data, laboratory investigations, deviations, and CAPAs
*Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory, and company quality standards
*Manage analytical method validation, transfer, and continuous improvement activities
*Support audits and maintain inspection readiness
*Prepare and review QC documentation, SOPs, and laboratory records
*Drive a culture of quality, safety, and operational excellence
The Candidate*Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline
*Proven experience within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical QC environment
*Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience within Quality Control
*Strong knowledge of analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, and related laboratory instrumentation
*Excellent understanding of GMP, investigations, deviations, and CAPAs
*Strong communication, organisation, and people management skills
