We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Assistant to join the team!
The Riders 19-bed (all ensuite) residential care home with nursing. Offering 24-hour nursing support and specialist care for dementia and physical disabilities, including respite care, in a safe, and homely environment.
What You’ll be Doing
*Assist in the preparation and serving of meals
*Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas
*Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
*Help with inventory management and stock rotation
*Follow food safety and hygiene standards
*Support the Chef and kitchen staff as needed


What You’ll Need


*Proven experience as a Kitchen Assistant, preferably in a care home or similar setting
*Strong knowledge of dietary needs and restrictions
*Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Great communication skills
*Commitment to providing high-quality service
