Your New Role

As a Geography Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop a deep understanding of both physical and human geography.

Your responsibilities will include:
*Planning and delivering high-quality Geography lessons
*Creating a stimulating learning environment that promotes student engagement and achievement
*Assessing, monitoring and tracking student progress
*Differentiating lessons to support learners of all abilities
*Contributing to the wider life of the school and department
*Maintaining high standards of behaviour, safeguarding and pastoral care
*Supporting students to achieve excellent outcomes and a genuine enthusiasm for Geography
This is a full-time temporary position, working five days per week, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will:
*Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards achieving QTS
*Have a degree in Geography or a related subject
*Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography education
*Have experience teaching Geography within a secondary school setting, including placements for ECTs
*Possess excellent classroom management skills
*Be committed to raising standards and improving student outcomes
*Have strong communication and organisational skills
*Be passionate about creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
*Hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check
