Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are seeking an experienced Interim Finance Analyst/SFO to support the Regeneration Division within the Housing & Regeneration Department. The role will provide financial management, analysis, and business partnering support across both revenue and capital budgets, covering service areas including:
*Corporate Estates
*Facilities Management
*Climate Change & Natural Reserves
*Planning & Building Control
*Catering Service
Key Requirements
*Strong local government finance experience.
*Experience managing and monitoring both revenue and capital budgets.
*Ability to provide financial advice and challenge to budget holders and senior managers.
*Strong forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis skills.
*Advanced Excel skills and experience using financial systems.
*Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
*Experience within regeneration, property, estates, or similar service areas would be advantageous.
The successful candidate will be expected to quickly establish effective working relationships, lead on budget monitoring and forecasting, identify financial risks and opportunities, and support managers in delivering their financial objectives.
Key details of the assignment are as follows:
*Day rate: £350 per day
*Location: 2 days per week onsite
*Start date: As soon as possible
*Contract duration: Initial 6-month contract
