Full job descriptionJob Title: Cleaner - Part-Time
Location: Wirral
Salary: £13.20 per hour
Hours: 15 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Start Date: As soon as possible
Are you reliable, hardworking, and take pride in keeping spaces clean, safe, and welcoming? Tradewind are currently recruiting for a dedicated Cleaner to join a committed facilities team on a part-time, permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to contribute to a positive and well-maintained environment for staff, students, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:*Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
*Clean and sanitise toilets, staff areas, and kitchen spaces
*Empty bins and dispose of waste safely and responsibly
*Restock cleaning and janitorial supplies
*Report any maintenance or repair issues promptly
*Follow agreed cleaning schedules and routines
*Operate cleaning machinery where required
*Support occasional outdoor cleaning duties, including grit spreading during adverse weather
*Always adhere to health and safety and hygiene protocols
What We’re Looking For:*Essential:
*Previous experience in a similar cleaning role
*Ability to work independently and use your own initiative
*Strong communication skills and reliability
*Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the service
*Awareness of appropriate use of cleaning equipment and products
*Ability to carry out the physical duties of the role with or without reasonable adjustment
Additional Information:*This role does not include direct line management responsibilities
*The role is based onsite and primarily indoors, with some outdoor duties as required
*The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check as part of the pre-employment process
*All staff are expected to comply with policies on health and safety, safeguarding, and equality, and to maintain positive and professional relationships with staff, students, and visitors
