This is an excellent opportunity for someone with around one to two years of finance, billing or accounts experience who is looking to develop their career within a highly respected global organisation.A leading international law firm is looking to appoint a Billing Assistant to join its London finance team. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced finance professionals, supporting multiple office locations and gaining broad exposure across billing and client accounting responsibilities.If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and ready to grow within a collaborative and fast-paced professional services environment, this could be the ideal next step for you.What You’ll Be Doing*Working closely with senior finance team members on day-to-day billing operations
*Supporting a shared finance helpdesk mailbox, ensuring queries are handled professionally and promptly
*Assisting with finance projects and ad hoc tasks as they arise
*Processing fixed fee billings accurately and within agreed timescales
*Preparing and reviewing client invoices to ensure completeness and accuracy
*Handling intercompany recharge invoices as part of wider finance support
*Posting and reconciling client-related disbursements and search fees
What We’re Looking For*Confident user of Microsoft Excel and Word, with the ability to handle data efficiently
*A proactive, positive communicator with strong written and verbal skills
*Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise a varied workload and meet deadlines consistently
*One to two years of experience in a billing, finance or accounts administration capacity
*Self-motivated and eager to develop professionally within a structured environment
*Meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
Nice to Have*Familiarity with the legal or professional services sector (useful but not a requirement)
