Full job descriptionOur client is seeking an experienced Client Team Leader with property management experience to join their growing business. This role requires a hands-on property management professional with a proven background in residential property management, combined with the ability to lead, motivate and develop a small team.
You will act as the link between clients and the property management team, ensuring high service standards, operational efficiency and continuous improvement across the department. Alongside the team leadership responsibilities, you will also manage a small portfolio of residential properties.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
Leading, motivating and supporting a small property management team.
Monitoring team performance and addressing any service or performance issues.
Promoting a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and excellent customer service.
Analysing team performance and identifying opportunities to improve processes and service delivery.
Acting as an escalation point for complex property management matters.
Building strong working relationships with clients, landlords, tenants and internal stakeholders.
Property Management
Managing a portfolio of residential properties.
Overseeing tenancy progression, renewals and general tenancy administration.
Preparing and enforcing Assured Shorthold Tenancy (AST) agreements.
Ensuring Right to Rent, referencing and other compliance requirements are completed correctly.
Administering tenancy deposits, including registration and release procedures.
Liaising with landlords, tenants, contractors and building managers.
Coordinating maintenance, repairs and contractor relationships.
Managing rent arrears and assisting with the resolution of payment issues.
Maintaining accurate property and financial records.
Preparing client reports and providing regular updates.
Organising and conducting property inspections.
Ensuring all properties and tenancies remain compliant with relevant legislation and statutory requirements.
Experience Required
Minimum 5 years’ experience within residential property management.
Previous experience supervising, mentoring or managing a small team.
Strong understanding of tenancy legislation and property management compliance.
Proven experience managing landlord and tenant relationships.
Experience dealing with rent arrears, maintenance coordination and property inspections.
Strong knowledge of tenancy administration and the full property management process.
ARLA qualification would be desirable but is not essential.
