As an Internal Auditor at Hyde, you will deliver high-quality audit work that provides assurance on governance, risk management and internal controls. You will work with colleagues across the business to identify risks, provide practical recommendations and support continuous improvement across Hyde’s services.


Key Duties
*Plan and deliver internal audits across operational and corporate services in line with agreed standards.
*Assess governance, risk management and controls, gathering evidence to support balanced findings and recommendations.
*Produce clear audit reports that explain risks, root causes and practical opportunities for improvement.
*Build effective relationships with stakeholders, providing constructive challenge and advice on assurance, risk and control matters.
*Monitor agreed audit actions, maintain accurate records and support reporting on overdue actions, recurring themes and areas of concern.

As an Internal Auditor we’re seeking someone who can bring:
*Proven experience of delivering internal audits in a similarly sized and complex organisation.
*Proven experience in housing, local authority, central government, charity, or similar organisations.
*Hold suitable qualifications (IIA Qualified Auditor, CCAB)
*Strong analytical, communication and report writing skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
*A proactive mindset and passion for improving governance, risk management, controls and assurance.
*The ability to influence and constructively challenge stakeholders to support effective action and continuous improvement.
