About the roleWe are looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join our team, providing high-quality research, technical support and report writing to Financial Advisers and their high-net-worth clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner who enjoys producing high-quality, client-focused work and wants to play an important role in supporting Advisers while delivering an exceptional service to clients.
You will work closely with Financial Advisers, undertaking detailed research and preparing bespoke Recommendation and Strategy Reports. Your work will enable Advisers to focus on building strong, long-term client relationships and developing new business.
Key responsibilities*Carry out detailed financial research and analysis to support client recommendations.
*Prepare high-quality, bespoke Recommendation and Strategy Reports.
*Ensure reports are written in clear, concise Plain English, tailored specifically to each client.
*Provide technical and research support to Financial Advisers.
*Ensure recommendations are appropriate, well researched and compliant with regulatory requirements.
*Confidently raise questions or challenge recommendations where appropriate.
*Maintain a thorough understanding of the advice process, reporting requirements and compliance procedures.
*Keep Advisers regularly updated on workflow and case progress to help them manage client expectations effectively.
*Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge through relevant training, professional development and industry best practice.
About youWe are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
*Level 4 qualification.
*Proven experience working as a Paraplanner within an IFA environment.
*Strong experience in financial research and the preparation of high-quality Recommendation Reports.
*Excellent technical and report-writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial matters clearly and in a client-friendly way.
*Knowledge and experience across:
*Pre- and post-retirement planning
*Pension transfers and SIPP arrangements
*Investments
*Taxation
*A strong understanding of financial services regulation and compliance.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*The confidence to work independently while also being a supportive and collaborative team member.
*A genuine commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience.
