Full job description-Oracle DBA
-Remote, ideally based in Scotland
-Market rates, via umbrella
-12 months initial contract

Brand new, long-term contract opportunity to the market for a seasoned Oracle DBA, working on a large-scale project for our public sector client. You will work on a large, long-term programme of work, designed to upgrade the digital technology estate with the aim of reducing Cyber Threats and improving Cyber Security.
Candidates must be able to achieve and maintain NPPV3 and Security Clearance (SC).


Responsibilities:
*Proven expertise in a Database Administrator role (Oracle)
*Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain database systems and solutions
*Provide expert technical guidance to colleagues, stakeholders and customers
*Support database systems to ensure availability, performance and SLA compliance
*Manage database security, integrity, and compliance with data standards.
*Develop, implement, and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures
*Deploy and configure database solutions into live production environments
*Support databases and associated tools throughout their full lifecycle.
*Contribute to database strategy, standards and technology recommendations
