Are you looking for a hands-on role with a global leader in engineering?
We are currently seeking a motivated Assembly Operator to join the team at Caterpillar in Stafford. If you have a passion for precision and thrive in a fast-paced production environment, this is your opportunity to build a career with one of the most recognizable names in the industry.
What we offer:
*Competitive Pay: Starts at £13.48 per hour, increasing to £15.26 per hour upon completion of training.
*Schedule: 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday (07:15 - 16:30).
*Contract Type: Temporary - Ongoing.
*Generous Benefits: 33 days of annual leave, free onsite parking, and access to an onsite canteen.
Responsibilities:
*Assemble engine parts and sub-assembly components according to precise specifications.
*Work efficiently to meet established ’Takt time’ deadlines.
*Maintain a safe working environment by strictly adhering to all PPE and Health & Safety protocols.
*Collaborate effectively within a team or work independently as project requirements dictate.
*Perform manual tasks, including light to moderate lifting, as part of the assembly process.
Qualifications/Requirements:
*Previous assembly experience is preferred.
*Strong motivation and drive to hit production targets consistently.
*A solid understanding of safe working practices and a commitment to maintaining high Health and Safety standards.
*Excellent attention to detail to ensure product quality.
*An enthusiastic approach to working in a fast-paced, high-output environment.
