Job Description:
Full job descriptionOur client are a well-established and busy law firm based in East London with a strong reputation for providing exceptional legal services to a diverse client base. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced and motivated Conveyancing Solicitor to join their expanding Property Department.
The Role
The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion. You will work in a fast-paced environment and be expected to deliver a high standard of client care while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
*Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, including:
*Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
*Remortgages
*Transfers of equity
*New build properties
*Right to Buy matters
*Providing clear and practical legal advice to clients.
*Liaising with estate agents, mortgage lenders, solicitors and other third parties.
*Drafting and reviewing contracts and related documentation.
*Maintaining accurate file records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
*Contributing to the ongoing growth and success of the department.
Requirements
*Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales.
*Minimum 2 years’ PQE in residential conveyancing (although candidates with more or less experience demonstrating the required skills will be considered).
*Ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
*Strong technical knowledge of conveyancing procedures and property law.
*Excellent client care, communication and organisational skills.
*Proactive, commercially aware and able to work effectively under pressure.
*Experience using case management systems is desirable.
