Full job descriptionSEN Teaching Assistant - Ealing
Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in Ealing? Do you have experience supporting children and young people with additional needs and a genuine desire to help pupils reach their full potential?
Academics are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to join supportive and inclusive schools across Ealing, working with pupils who may have a range of additional needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties and complex learning needs.
The Role
*Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs
*Work closely with class teachers and the wider SEN team
*Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development
*Assist with interventions and differentiated learning activities
*Help create a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment
*Support pupils in developing confidence, independence and communication skills
*Full-time opportunities available, with immediate and September starts
The Ideal Candidate
*Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable
*Experience with Autism, ADHD, SEMH or other additional needs is advantageous
*A patient, resilient and nurturing approach
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*A genuine passion for supporting children to succeed
*Teaching Assistant, Psychology, Education, Health & Social Care or related qualifications are beneficial
*Graduates with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply
