Full job descriptionDue to growth and expansion, our client, a leading accountancy firm are actively recruiting for a Senior accountant based in Peterborough. The firm are flexible on the level they hire at and may consider applicants from a Semi-Senior or Assistant Manager grade.

Responsibilities:
*Prepare and review statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders in accordance with FRS102 and UK accounting standards, together with the corporation tax computations and returns.
*Assist with personal tax compliance matters and identify planning opportunities.
*Review bookkeeping and VAT returns prepared by junior team members.
*Support clients with both general advice and software questions.
*Manage budgets and deadlines across the business.
*Attend client meetings and site visits as required.
*Identify opportunities for additional services and business development.
*Mentor, train, and review the work of junior team members
