Full job descriptionDue to continued growth and future expansion plans, an £8m turnover business is looking to appoint their first Financial Controller. This is a great opportunity to be involved in the development and transformation of the finance function and also offers the longer term potential of FD-ship as the company expands.
Working closely with the Managing Director, this will be a diverse role encompassing:
Development of monthly management accounts
Enhancement of financial controls, systems and process to support growth
Introduction of budgets and forecasting in addition to commercial reporting/modelling
This is an exciting opportunity to join a business which is at a crucial point in its development with opportunity to be part of their leadership team and have a genuine impact on the future growth of the business.
To be considered for this role you should be experienced in a Senior Finance role, ideally within an SME. Whilst qualification is desirable, experience is key and individuals with previous experience within the construction industry would be considered favourably.
