About the Role / Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Functional Skills Maths Tutor to join our team in Peterborough. This role offers an opportunity to engage with learners and help them achieve their educational goals in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Functional Skills Maths.
*Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
*Develop and implement curriculum materials tailored to student needs.
*Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
*Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
*Participate in professional development activities to improve teaching practices.
Experience and Qualifications:
*Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed).
*Level 3 Maths qualification or equivalent.
*Proven experience in teaching Maths, particularly at the Functional Skills level.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to inspire and motivate students.
