The role of the Design Manager - Industrial Roofing & Cladding Systems will involve:
*Design Manager position dealing with various cladding systems such as:, wall cladding, rain screen cladding and SFS
*Ensuring all construction drawings and designs are produced on time to a high standard
*Managing the development and implementation of design proposals and ensure they meet the clients expectations
*Ensure all drawings and revisions comply with project specifications and manufacturers’ latest installation guidance
*Ensuring designs have relevant documentation to support them
*Act as the central point of contact for all design-related inquiries
*Managing a teams ranging from 6-30 designers
*Facilitating the designs for projects that could range in value up to £30m
The ideal applicant will be Design Manager - Industrial Roofing & Cladding Systems with:
*Must have Senior Designer / Design Management experience within rainscreen cladding and/or SFS market sector
*Experience managing design projects over £10m
*Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
*High levels of attention to detail and organisation
*Familiar with working in a fast paced environment dealing with multiple projects at any one time
*Enthusiastic, team player, who works well individually also
