Salary: £43,000 - £45,000 + Overtime + Excellent Benefits
Our client, a well-established manufacturing business, is seeking a dedicated Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to enhance its engineering function at a bustling production facility in Newcastle.

The RoleAs a pivotal member of a small engineering team, you will ensure the reliability, performance, and safety of production equipment throughout the site.
Key responsibilities include:
*Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.
*Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults on production equipment.
*Responding swiftly to machinery breakdowns to minimise downtime.
*Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
*Maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality, and housekeeping.
About YouOur client is looking for a proactive and motivated Maintenance Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ideally, you will have:
*Previous experience in manufacturing, FMCG, packaging, or process environments.
*Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
*Experience maintaining production or automated machinery.
*A recognised engineering qualification.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Hours*Monday to Friday.
*Rotating early and late shift pattern.
*Ample overtime opportunities available.
Salary & Benefits*Competitive salary of £43,000 - £45,000.
*25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
