We are recruiting Support Worker to work with our team!
Hunter’s Rest is a supported living scheme for clients with a learning disability or mental health diagnosis. We support clients to live as independently as possible and our aim is to learn new life skills to enable them to move on to living in the community in their own home.
What You’ll be Doing
*Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities.
*Support residents in developing and maintaining their independence.
*Help residents with meal preparation, medication management, and household tasks.
*Provide emotional support and companionship.
*Maintain accurate records and documentation.
*Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
What You’ll Need
*Minimum of 1+ years’ experience as a support worker
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
*Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
*NVQ2 in Health and Social Care & First aid Trained
