Hays Recruitment are currently recruiting for two Site Operatives on behalf of a specialist contractor delivering commercial pontoon installation and bridge inspection projects across the UK.This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with construction experience who enjoy working outdoors, travelling to different locations, and being part of a skilled team involved in unique infrastructure projects.

Your new role
As a Site Operative, you will work alongside experienced teams carrying out the installation, maintenance, and inspection of pontoons, access platforms, and bridge structures. The role is physically demanding and requires a proactive attitude towards health and safety.Duties will include:
*Assisting with commercial pontoon installation projects
*Supporting bridge inspection and maintenance works
*General site labouring and construction duties
*Loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment
*Working near waterways, rivers, docks, and bridges
*Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
*Following site-specific health and safety procedures
*Assisting with setting up safe working areas and access equipment
*Travelling to various project locations throughout the UK
What you’ll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you must have:
*Valid CSCS Card
*Previous construction or site-based experience
*Good level of physical fitness and ability to undertake manual work
*Comfortable working near water and at varying heights when required
*Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
