Job Description
JOB TITLE: Head of SME, BCB (South East Region)
LOCATIONS: London, Basildon, Reading or Southampton
HOURS: Full-time

About this opportunity:
Within the SME division, there is an opportunity to become the Head of the South East region of the UK, responsible for leading an ambitious team across the area. You’ll lead a team of Area Directors and Relationship Directors/Managers, helping clients achieve their ambitions through the delivery of comprehensive banking solutions.
The role is responsible for driving business growth, enhancing customer outcomes, building strong community and business relationships, and ensuring colleagues have the support and leadership needed to succeed. You’ll play a key role in growing the business while supporting Lloyds Banking Group’s purpose of Helping Britain Prosper.
What you’ll be doing:
*Develop and deliver the regional business plan, leading a team of Area Directors and Relationship Directors/Managers to achieve growth ambitions and exceptional client outcomes.
*Drive commercial performance across income, profitability, customer growth, sales and service metrics, taking decisive action to optimise results.
*Lead revenue generation, portfolio performance and risk management activity across the region, ensuring sustainable and balanced growth.
*Act as the senior representative for the region, strengthening Lloyds Banking Group’s profile with key clients, local business communities and strategic partners.
*Build and maintain trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders, identifying opportunities to grow the SME franchise and support Helping Britain Prosper.
*Build high-performing teams through inspirational leadership, coaching and talent development, fostering an inclusive and engaged culture.
*Lead the delivery and embedding of strategic change initiatives, ensuring colleagues are equipped to adapt and succeed.
*Ensure all activities are conducted in line with internal policies, regulatory requirements and risk management standards.
