Full job descriptionCrowe Watson Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Aberdeen with the appointment of a Corporate Tax Associate Director, offering flexible working, a strong company pension, and much more. Working closely with Partners and senior stakeholders, the successful candidate will play a key role in managing a varied corporate tax portfolio, advising on complex tax matters, and supporting the continued growth of the firm’s tax offering. This role offers genuine scope for progression, with a clear pathway towards Partnership for the right individual, alongside the opportunity to mentor and develop junior members of the team.

What is the day-to-day of the role:
*Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate tax clients, delivering high-quality advisory and compliance services
*Advise on complex corporate tax matters, including restructuring, transactions, and tax planning
*Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
*Support business development activities and help grow the firm’s corporate tax offering
*Mentor, develop, and support junior members of the tax team
Required Skills and Qualifications:
*CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with strong corporate tax technical knowledge
*Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
*Proven experience managing a corporate tax client portfolio at a senior level
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
*Ambition to progress towards Partnership within the firm
