Your new role
As Management Accountant, you’ll play a key role in managing and reporting on grant-funded activities across the organisation. Working closely with finance and operational teams, you’ll take responsibility for the end-to-end grant claim process, ensuring claims are accurate, compliant, and submitted on time.
Key responsibilities include:
*Managing grant claims from preparation through to audit completion.
*Building strong relationships with project and operational stakeholders to support grant-funded activities.
*Producing grant rate calculations and ensuring compliance with funding requirements.
*Monitoring grant expenditure against budgets and providing regular reporting to budget holders.
*Reconciling grant income and expenditure within the finance system.
*Supporting external audits and providing key financial information and documentation.
*Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, controls, and reporting efficiencies

What you’ll need to succeed
*Qualified or part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA, or studying towards qualification.
*Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role.
*Strong analytical skills with experience handling and interpreting large volumes of financial data.
*Experience supporting audits, compliance processes, or working closely with external auditors.
*Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders across the business.
*Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate financial information.
*Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to deadlines
