Based in Irlam, our client is recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. You’ll be joining a well-established organisation that is going through a period of steady growth. The role is office-based and offers flexibility with hours, depending on the need of the candidate.
The Role
This role will report to the Management Accountant and work as part of a busy team. This is a position that would suit someone who enjoys variety and thrives when working as part of a team.
Key responsibilities:
*Supplier statement reconciliations
*Processing purchase orders and liaising with suppliers
*Preparing reports and spreadsheets for management
*Managing incoming enquiries and providing administrative support across department
*Ensuring all records are maintained accurately
*Supporting continuous system and process improvement
Experience Required
You will have strong experience as a finance assistant along with the following:
*Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
*Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
*The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
*Strong attention to detail
