IntroductionAcorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced Machine Operator to join a well-established and growing foundry in Yeovil.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and motivated Machine Operator looking for long-term, full-time employment, with opportunities for training, development and career progression.
What We Offer*£13.50 per hour.
*Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm.
*Full-time, long-term employment.
*No weekend working.
*Training and career development opportunities.
*Supportive and friendly working environment.
*Ongoing support from Acorn by Synergie.
Key Duties*Operate production machinery safely and efficiently.
*Load and unload raw materials, stock and finished products.
*Move materials throughout the production and manufacturing areas.
*Support general production and operational activities as required.
*Carry out routine equipment and machine checks, reporting any faults or issues promptly.
*Follow all site health and safety policies and procedures.
*Maintain a clean, safe and organised workspace.
*Assist with quality checks and ensure production targets are met.
Requirements*Previous experience working in a manufacturing, production, warehouse or industrial environment.
*Experience operating machinery or production equipment is desirable.
*Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
*Reliable, hardworking and punctual with a strong work ethic.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
*Flexible approach with a willingness to support wider production activities.
*Good attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
