We are currently looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in the Tonbridge area.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced LSA, Teaching Assistant or someone looking to build a career in education. You will play an important role in supporting students both academically and pastorally, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.
The Role*Supporting students in the classroom across a range of subjects
*Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required
*Helping students remain focused and engaged with their learning
*Supporting students with additional learning needs
*Working closely with teachers and the wider support team
*Encouraging positive behaviour and developing students’ confidence and independence
*Helping to create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate*Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
*Experience supporting students with SEND would be an advantage
*Patient, approachable and confident in building positive relationships
*Able to work effectively as part of a wider school team
*Reliable, professional and adaptable
*Passionate about supporting young people and helping them succeed
Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, Cover Supervisors and graduates with relevant experience are all encouraged to apply.
