Full job descriptionBritish Sign Language (BSL) Support Workers - Level 2 & Level 3
Supporting Learners Aged 16-19
Morgan Hunt is currently recruiting for passionate and experienced British Sign Language (BSL) Level 2 and Level 3 qualified Support Workers to work with students aged 16-19 at leading Further Education colleges.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by supporting deaf and hearing-impaired learners to achieve their full potential in an inclusive learning environment.
The Role
*Provide 1:1 and classroom support for deaf learners aged 16-19.
*Communicate confidently using British Sign Language (BSL).
*Support students to access lessons, college activities and assessments.
*Work closely with lecturers and learning support teams.
*Encourage independence, confidence and academic success.
Essential Requirements
*Recognised British Sign Language (BSL) Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (essential).
*Previous experience supporting young people or adults in education, SEND or a similar setting.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*A positive, reliable and professional approach.
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
