About the RoleWe are looking for a reliable and hardworking Driver’s Assistant to join our clients furniture delivery team in High Wycombe. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity.

You will work alongside the delivery driver to safely and efficiently deliver furniture to customers’ homes and businesses.

Key Responsibilities*Assisting the driver with the loading and unloading of furniture.


*Delivering furniture to customers safely and on time.


*Carrying and manoeuvring furniture into customers’ properties.


*Assisting with positioning furniture where required.


*Ensuring furniture is handled carefully to prevent damage.


*Providing friendly and professional customer service.


*Helping with vehicle loading and ensuring items are secure for transportation.


*Following delivery schedules and instructions from the driver/management.


*Maintaining a clean and tidy delivery vehicle.


*Working as part of a team to ensure deliveries are completed efficiently.


About YouThe ideal candidate will be:

*Physically fit and comfortable lifting and carrying furniture.


*Reliable, punctual and hardworking.


*Friendly and professional when dealing with customers.


*A good team player with a positive attitude.


*Able to follow instructions and work efficiently.


*Previous furniture delivery, removals or warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
