Are you a Psychology graduate eager to gain practical experience supporting young people with additional needs?
A Secondary School in Maidenhead is seeking a dedicated and caring Learning Support Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Therapists, or Teachers who want to build valuable, hands-on experience working with students with a variety of special educational needs.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
*Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with additional learning needs.
*Support students in accessing the curriculum and developing their confidence and independence.
*Work closely with teachers to create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
*Encourage students to participate actively in lessons and school activities.
*Observe and monitor students’ progress, wellbeing, and engagement throughout the school day.
*Build positive and trusting relationships with students, helping them reach their individual potential.
