This is a great opportunity for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant who enjoys working with young people and wants to have a positive impact on pupils who may require a more specialist approach to education. The school is looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals who can provide consistent support and help pupils feel safe, understood and able to engage with their learning.
Academics are particularly interested in candidates who have experience supporting SEMH, challenging behaviour, emotional regulation difficulties or complex SEN. *Supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs
*Developing positive, trusting relationships with young people
*Helping pupils with emotional regulation and positive behaviour

*Providing a consistent and supportive presence throughout the school day
The successful candidate will ideally:*Have experience working with children or young people

*Be confident supporting pupils who may display challenging behaviour
*Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills
*Hold an Enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one
*Be available to work 4-5 days per week, Monday-Friday
*Have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable)
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to gain valuable experience within a specialist SEMH setting, while making a meaningful difference to pupils who need additional support to succeed in education.

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client’s pay policy.
