£25,000 per annum + Performance-Linked Bonus
37.5 hours per week | Rotating shifts: 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm
Michelle Denny Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a supportive manufacturing business in Diss for a Quality Inspector.
If you’re naturally curious, enjoy understanding how things work and take pride in getting the details right, this could be an excellent opportunity to build a career in quality.
Full training will be provided, so whilst previous manufacturing or production experience would be beneficial, it isn’t essential. What matters most is your attention to detail, willingness to learn and commitment to maintaining high standards.
Working across the production environment, you’ll help ensure products consistently meet customer specifications and quality requirements.
What you’ll be doing
- Inspecting incoming materials, products during production and finished goods
- Carrying out measurements and quality inspections
- Approving first off products before production begins
- Recording inspection results and maintaining quality documentation
- Monitoring production standards and highlighting any issues
- Supporting investigations into quality concerns where required
- Working closely with production colleagues to maintain quality standards
What we’re looking for
- Excellent attention to detail
- A careful and methodical approach
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence following procedures and recording information accurately
- An interest in manufacturing, engineering or quality
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
